Du Bois

Cover design for book 1 in Frozen Apocalypse series. The book is set in the future. An apocalyptic event plunged the world into a new ice age. Seas have retreated and the polar caps cover more land then ever. Du Bois is town surrounded by barren, flat tundra. Around the town the people erected a four story high steel wall. There are guard towers at intervals and between them multiple automated guns on top of the wall. Outside the wall is a train station. I mixed important things from design brief and made design that convey frozen wasteland and emptiness in apocalyptic world.

Book cover for a sci-fi horror novel about astronauts on abandoned, dangerous spaceship. I putted main focus on the spaceship and dark and dangerous atmosphere. I didn't want to add to much details because I wanted to convey filling of emptiness and fear in deep space.

It was a really fun contest for a Sci-fi/Apocalyptic Novel. Sci-fi is my favorite genre so I'm enjoying reading or crating the book covers for it.

Exclusion

This was a design I created that mixed good, clean and sunny with decrepit and destroyed. It is a Dystopian, futuristic-style of novel for young adults.

Displaced

The year is 2040 and Eric Roberts hates technology. In an era where automated systems and A.I. robots carry out most work obligations, scores of humans have lost their societal value. As these displaced people wander about, struggling with their new reality, Eric sympathizes with their hardship. Once a neuropsychologist, his professional livelihood ended when medical tech pushed him into obsolescence. Now a community therapist, he spends his days working with the displaced, helping them craft meaning in a world that no longer needs them. Then an A.I. robot unexpectedly marches into the counseling center for mental health services. Reluctantly, Eric has to work with the embodiment of what he loathes, and while doing so, he uncovers a damning secret. With his life at a low point, he shelves his professional obligations and investigates the revelation. However, he quickly learns that solving the mystery will only be possible with help from a most unlikely source.

The book is a dystopic novel, takes place in the year 2084. It is about a society, in which every person has a chip implanted in their arm, which records all of his life for the sake of a social credit system. The Name „Pyramidenspiel“ means literally „game of pyramids“, which is the german word for ponzi scheme. This is, because in the book is said, that the whole society works like a pyramid.

Psychological Thriller

Design needed: 'm looking for a cover, detailing the main character (who is African-American) in his alternate attire which consists of black studded gloves, a long black coat with silver flames embroided along the waist and up to the arms. He also wears Steampunk aviator goggles to go with a yellow and red bandana mask that has razor teeth imagery on the front, which he wears over his mouth and face, not head. His weapons are palladium tonfas. I would like either an edgy, dark full body profile backdropped against a nighttime landscape/city, with a little barb wire sprinkled somewhere in the design. Or an emphasis on the face with the goggles and bandanna that would give it a more sinister, horror vibe.
