Carnage Haunted House

I focused on powerful imagery, texture, and typography in this design in order to capture the essence and atmosphere of a real horror house. I then complimented these elements with dark, grungy background and scarlet red highlights. About the banner, since the client asked for a realistic version of a drawing they provided: imgur.com/a/iRnHO I used my wacom to create the horrifying face from scratch. They decided later on that the glowing eyes could be an interesting touch when you hover. I experimented a bit to create the effects and I ended up with the result that looks quite interesting.

I had fun in this contest. The client asked for an oriental feeling in the design. So, alongside the assets they provided, I also searched for ancient oriental cultural designs in order to get a grasp on how the eastern oriental environment look. In the end, I went for wooden style textures with patterns that are commonly found in the oriental scrolls and clothing. I then complimented it with glowing jewel-themed CTA buttons. The background image in this one is a custom creation of mine. The assassin, the dragon, and the meteors, and the ground and grass are all made from scratch :)

This is a fun project! For this project, I decided to incorporate several custom made elements in order to give it a unique personality. It's pretty challenging task because the client asked for a mix of greek and norse mythology for the design. So, I merged real photos and digital painting for the background to convey the unique greek x norse feeling. I also had fun sketching custom elements in this one like the Hermes poporing and the icons for the register and login buttons.

Resulting opportunities emerged to work with the city of West Palm Beach to reimagine the site, yet several proposals had come and gone, all involving various commercial elements. However, an idea being discussed among a group of dedicated and influential local business leaders and golfers was inherently simple: Could something special be done with the site? Something that would attract broad, private financial support and allow for the creation of a world-class, non-profit operation dedicated to inclusivity, community outreach and junior golfer development programs? They agreed to pursue this beautiful vision and mission under the unifying motto, "Giving Back to the Game."
