Ultralight is startup online media company focused on the future of art, currency, and digital interactions, providing news and analysis on the cryptospace, venture capital, and the creator economy. The client had struggled to find a mark that spoke to him and the project. After an initial discussion we undertook a deep dive, and among the outcomes of discovery was this design: an evolving arc of light. We don't know what the future of art and society will be in the face of the threshold moment of blockchain. But we can assume it will be spectacular, and usher in new concepts, aesthetics and understandings of life. A push forward into the future.

The contest holder initially wants a 3 scoops of ice cream to represent "scoop" or "news". This design provides solution to not be so literal in scoop but provides a fun and playful way of delivering a message, by using a paper plane. The "oop" trail of paper plane represents the 3 daily topics: health, education and nutrition.

'BTC-ECHO' - website, that offers news and information about cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology. Logo symbol has multiple powers and connections to the crypto filed. Create a full-page ad to get teachers onboard with digital learning

We need a nice design for an ad to run in local newspaper. It's a full-page ad, in "testimonial format", with a photo of an actual teacher with a quote from him. We want teachers to feel ready to take the leap when they see the ad, it's a call to action with a friendly face from a fellow teacher, so it needs to be direct but accessible. No "hip" or "cool" designs, but down-to-earth and friendly. PLEASE NOTE: The format for this ad is 251mm width, and 372mm height. I have attached PNG file of the correct size, as well as a PDF document from Illustrator with the correct dimensions.

Headliners began in 2011 as an independent hat shop located in Japantown San Jose. Our 320sqft space became a go-to spot for locals to get headwear from various sports teams and streetwear brands. As business grew, we were able to expand our product line with apparel and other small accessories. Eventually we started to develop our own products. With the introduction of our HL Monogram and Paperboy logos, our custom New Era hats became a favorite item amongst our loyal customers. Our hats quickly gained merit with credible blogs and chat groups which helped spread awareness worldwide. In September of 2018, we reopened our shop directly across the street from our former location. With 3 times the space, our new shop gives us the opportunity to grow alongside the demand for our products. As we shift our focus primarily on establishing our brand identity, we aim to continue delivering quality goods while expanding our loyal customer base.

I based this on the 'breaking news' idents used by network news - I angled the text to make it more dynamic and added the speech bubble mark to imply 'talk'. Will work on various plain colors and patterned backgrounds or photographs.

The Scoop

Have been working in an interesting project from my nicest Client. The Scoop itself is a blog of Poker term. The client wanted the logo to be adapted from an ice scoop and signs of poker. It was hard to find some references. However finally we dealt with this concept as the winner. :) Would like to work with you again!
