Heritage Badge Logo for Border Ranges Distillery

This concept is designed as a circular heritage badge to communicate a premium, small-batch distillery identity rooted in tradition while still feeling current and confident. The central figure represents hands-on craftsmanship and the personal, small-batch approach behind each spirit. The simplified distillation apparatus reinforces the distilling process and quality focus, while the layered mountain ranges and flowing river elements reference the Tweed Valley landscape and the “borderland” character of the region. The earthy palette (deep green, mustard/gold, and white) supports a refined, authentic feel and is built to reproduce cleanly across packaging, labels, stamps, and digital use.

The inspiration for the logo came from the client's description. The vision: To transform the intricate wrought iron motif of our front door into a sophisticated logo that captures both the historic charm of Spanish craftsmanship and the refined elegance of a luxurious private residence with boutique-style amenities. I created this intricate motif based on what the client told me, and we blended our visions for this stunning result.

Pottenhuys

Pottenhuys is a house designed in 1642. It served as a pottery and as a café in the muyzennestje. The idea is conveyed in minimal and abstract way where the overall structure looks like a pot + house. Also, a subtle hint of letter 'P' in there!

Pinnacle Groves

Both the mandala, which has spiritual origins in Hinduism and Buddhism, and the Romanesque rose window (originally a simple "oculus" that evolved into complex designs) share profound geometric symbolism. The circular shape represents the universe, an archetypal form that helps us find balance and calm. The center is the focal point, symbolizing a point of origin or the divinity itself, from which everything radiates. The intricate geometric divisions of the rose window, often segmented into rose petals, are comparable to the mind maps and diagrams (yantras) of the mandala. Each section guides the gaze and mind toward the center on a path of order and harmony.

Archangel Acres – Brand Identity Proposal

This logo design was developed for a heritage farm brand, blending spiritual symbolism with rustic tradition. The concept integrates the Archangel figure a guardian symbol of strength and guidance with a finely detailed engraving-style illustration of the family farmhouse, barn, and lambs, representing purity, land, and continuity. The design follows a vintage engraving technique, with clean, consistent linework and timeless typography to ensure adaptability across packaging, signage, and digital applications. Although not selected as the winning entry, this project remains one of my most refined executions combining storytelling, heritage, and craftsmanship into a unified brand identity.

Muery Ranch – Logo Design

This project was created for a Texas-based Angus ranch, aiming to establish a strong and traditional brand identity. The design features a detailed engraved-style illustration of an Angus bull, symbolizing strength, heritage, and authenticity. The red and blue color palette reflects both authority and regional identity, while the bold serif typography conveys masculinity, stability, and tradition. The star element and web address at the bottom tie the brand to its modern communication while honoring its Texan roots. The result is a versatile logo that balances heritage and modernity, reinforcing Muery Ranch’s prestige and reliability across various applications.

Heritage East at Culture ETX is a modern southern, fine dining restaurant located in Tyler, Texas focusing on elevated takes on the classic cuisines of East Texas and Western Louisiana. I tried to give a Classic and modern feeling to the logo at the same time.

1564 winery brand identity rebuilding.

My main idea was to keep the feel and spirit of the old logo as part of a great heritage . So I interpreted the old logo as a new modern one, combining an initial with a vine so that it looks like the S is growing and blooming and living. A crown - again to remind of the old logo, but with five stones, to represent the 5-sided stone that is the cross-point of the five villages and the place where the wine is made. I also did some variations of complementary graphics, that can form the whole brand look and feel. All hand-drawings.

The logo is for a walking tours company - currently I am focusing on smaller towns with walkable downtowns that have good history to go along with them. My target audience are visitors that are looking something to do in town - age range, 25-50, I also want to do custom tours for school groups.
