Sideckicked (logo)

"Sidekicked" is a comedic and edgy Web / TV series about failed superhero sidekicks trying to adjust to everyday life. BRIEF Client: "We're looking for a vintage comic book feel with an edgy / comedic twist. (After all this is about the sidekicks, not the superheroes)" DESIGN PROCESS I contacted clients to get a little more information about this character. I was able to learn that he was a hero's sidekick, but now that hero has retired and that's why he had to accept a job as a janitor in order to pay his expenses The first thing I did was present some sketches of the "transformation from sidekick to janitor" concept and they loved it. We talked about adding some details like the cap, the name tag, etc. Once the character was completed I began to work on the text. For this, I used the Superman logo as inspiration. This completed the comic look for the logo.
