Here is another seamless wraparound cover I created for a low fantasy novel. Every element was illustrated completely by hand, creating a continuous scene that transitions from a lush forest on the back cover to a dry, desolate landscape on the front, reflecting the story's world and atmosphere. The sword, mist, and architecture are key elements of the novel. Instead of placing the sword in the ground, I designed it to pierce the letter D in the title, creating a unique interaction between the typography and illustration. The massive tree trunk on the spine serves as a natural divider, making the transition between the front and back covers feel seamless. Everything was hand drawn—no AI-generated elements or stock images were used. I believe every book deserves original artwork that is crafted exclusively for its story.

In complete contrast to the blue side, the red side should reek of decay. Unlike the life that the room is full of on the other side, this room is dark and in ruins. The banners should be torn and shredded, no longer hanging evenly with the stained glass shattered and littering the ground. Sections of the wall should be destroyed, showing a dark and cloudy sky outside. The throne, once large and imposing, should be almost completely destroyed to the point of feeling small and fragile. Atop the broken throne should now sit a raven, with the owl and bird stand now completely gone. The raven should look like a common European raven.

The blue Victor symbol should adorn the flags The Blue Victor symbol is a blue star with red accents. The V is the focal point of the Symbol. The throne should be large and ornate, clearly projecting an image of absolute power and control with gold and other riches gathered at its base. Next to the throne is a small ornate wooden bird stand with an owl resting on it. The owl should be small with a light brown and white coat of feathers. Use the face of a little owl with the coat of a tawney owl.

The initial concept (a stone monument) was mysterious but lacked the immediate "stopping power" needed for social media feeds against aggressive competitor visuals. Solution: I pivoted from static objects to a "Living Legend" concept. While competitors used Lions (aggressive), I selected the Majestic Stag to align with MYST’s enigmatic and elegant identity. Key Features: - Symbolism: The Stag represents nobility and the guardian of the forest. - Lighting: Dramatic "God Rays" create a natural spotlight and divine atmosphere. - Palette: Shifted from cold tones to Warm Gold & Earthy Dust to evoke luxury. Result: A cinematic visual that grabs attention through emotional eye contact while maintaining the brand's high-end mystique.
