John Wijnberg wrote a lovely story about an old man's adventures with his big fat cat, for which I happily created the illustrations. I started with the book cover, developing an aesthetic and creating lively character designs. From there I went on to create the concept sketches of key moments in the story.

99d's top designer Marcy_McGuire designed the book's lovely layout and typesetting.

The end result is a beautiful book in which the written story and the visual story complement each other.
