Unleashed World Championship (logo)

Unleashed World Championship is a world tricking competition. Trick is a mix of martial arts and gymnastics BRIEF Client: "It will take place in Chicago - I'd like to have that incorporated in the design itself if possible." Colors: Reds - Dark neutrals DESIGN PROCESS I started researching about "tricking" since I was not familiar with the sport. I began the design by creating a silhouette of an athlete in mid-flight to capture the spirit of tricking and placed it on top of the logo. At the bottom of the logo I placed a skyline of the city of Chicago, as the client requested. The client really loved the first sample. It only took a few minor adjustments to complete the project.

Crossfire Select Cup (logo)

Crossfire Select Cup is an annual tournament that hosts hundreds of youth soccer teams in the Pacific Northwest and Hawaii. The event is organized by Crossfire Select, a competitive youth soccer club based in Redmond, WA. BRIEF Client: "We'd like to keep a Washington (PNW) feel to the logo (Mt Rainier, Seattle skyline, the Space Needle, evergreen trees, etc) Use our logo for the words "Crossfire Select". Colors: Red, black, white, gray / silver. We are a Nike soccer club. Include their swoosh on the ball with a more up-to-date ball design than the checkered black and white ball. " DESIGN PROCESS I started by doing some research about Seattle WA to know its landscapes and to understand "essence" of the city. I also did a bit of research on the new Nike soccer ball models. I wanted to use a model that is not only modern, but is a real product of that brand. All this was injected into a project to create a cool, modern badge style design.

Logo / Emblem for Kinsale Cup

The Kinsale Cup logo is for a group of friends who have an annual golf trip/tournament they call the Kinsale Cup. During the trip they play great golf courses during the day and at night they enjoy the best beers. They wanted a shield logo to be used on commemorative jerseys and tournament prizes. At first glance it should be elegant and formal, but when looking at the details they looked for fun elements. We include different graphics related to the competition: 1. Stone of Accord in Kinsale 2. A glass of Guinnees beer 3. The silhouette of the players 4. A person on the floor after drinking more than they should In this way we managed to create that contrast between fun and sophistication, also illustrating all the elements in a unique and personal way.

Dave Ruppert Memorial Golf Tournament Logo

A dear friend of mine passed away in July of 2020. He was 33 years old, has a wonderful wife, a son the age of 3, and two twin daughters under the age of 1. This will be the first year we do the memorial golf tournament in memory of Dave and also as a fundraiser for his family. Dave was a fun a loving friend, husband and father. He really enjoyed the game of golf and I want to have a nice logo to build this into an annual event. I would like to incorporate a picture of his face into the logo if possible as well (just an option - can be animated graphic as well) that would help us to remember who he was and how young he was when he passed.
