Quirky Illustration Logo

This design came a long way, my initial owl concept was more cartoon-ish than vintage. After proposing a couple of design options, I finally came up with a hand-drawn illustration that fits what the project is asking for. I enjoyed creating this one as not many contest ask for an illustration logo. This owl within the lens is a product of a great communication and collaboration with the contest holder.

This is a cute and quirky logo idea for Bare Fruit. It features a happy / cute / cheeky kiwi fruit holding it's skin like a cape or jacket, to reveal it's inner fruity goodness and strong nutrients. Below the text is in the Aller font, which I thought would fit well with the quirky fruit, as it is kind of unusual and also very friendly. This logo portrays cheekiness and also strength and goodness of the nutrient-rich smoothie mix.

Logo for quirky new YouTube channel that reviews gin

Brief: This is a logo for a new YouTube channel that reviews gin. There will also be a supporting website where the logo will appear and any other future digital platforms. The channel is British, English language, single presenter based (male/longish light hair), quirky and humorous in approach. We don’t have a predefined design concept so very much open to your creative ideas (although we would tend towards modern rather than traditional). Some form of illustration or mascot could work well (but not cutesy). Bearing in mind this will probably be used as an icon for social media channels a square or close to square aspect ratio would probably be best. Since every episode will be an analysis of a particular gin (hence the name “ginalysis”) something with a bottle, glass or some type of inspection might work (but please give us your own ideas - they're probably better than ours!).
