The company had originally been founded over 50 years ago, then sold and restarted in 2008. However the previously used logo was rather generic and out of touch with bold and sleek logos of industry leaders such as Kohler, Grohe, Toto, etc. Having decided to move the company into direction of more upscale products, the current owners required something that would reflect the new consumer-facing vision but also remain trustworthy to people within the industry - plumbers. The result is modern, premium but also industrial, with a peculiar treatment of type that helps retain a conservative edge despite contemporary look. It balances the robust and sophisticated at the same time.

Zapeti sells Italian handmade premium leather children shoes to ages 2-12 years old. From age 2-6 parents or mothers make the purchasing decision, while at ages 7-12 the kids have more influence to purchase. My design targets both: the parents and the kids. For parents the crowned design speaks for a high class product, whereas kids will associate themselves with little princesses and princes. An important issue for the customer was to go unisex, which works great with this symbol that boys recognize as a prince while girls see a princess. The initial letter Z of Zapeti functions as an inherit part of the symbol.

Brand Identity for a Spanish restaurant chain

“La Brasería de la Viña” is a chain of fine road restaurants in Spain. The first restaurant was opened in Ribera del Duero region in Spain. It is one of the most recognised wine origin denominations in the world. "La Brasería de la Viña" means "the vineyard brasserie". I crafted a clean and charismatic wordmark inspired by the vineyard landscapes. The new identity tells a compelling story of a restaurant & store proud of their roots and aiming allways to offer a pleasant experience. The Brand Voice still has a casual and accessible message (not too luxurious/ fancy as the expensive city restaurants), but at the same time it is quite elegant and sophisticated. This convince clients that they will get the most of the money spent during their trip. A great objective was to design a logo that is easily recognizable from distance, easy to memorize and works well at any scale.

Logo for a real estate agent who works with high end clients finding their homes in the South Bay of Los Angeles. He have inspired me with the fact that he likes stone work very much. Designing the logo, I have subtly portrayed a cool idea using 4 stylized stone elements that are linked together. It stands for the idea of trust and long lasting relationship. It also reminds a minimalist facade of a house. It is symmetrical because symmetry inspires trust, balance and harmony. It is bold but not too abundant, luxuriant but not too obvious.
