Print Design for a Prison Ministry Program

The contest holder wanted some that leaned more towards the grays and blacks for the color scheme but i thought it would make an impact leaving a touch of color in the design, more so the prison uniform. I blended the edges of the image so that it appeared the light was shining down on the inmate holding the bible. I also kept the color of the uniform with the cover test and border for uniformity.

I created this design to reflect the ministry without having to be too "church-like" and to keep this type of novel modern. I used one image that I felt best reflected Churches as a whole. As churches date back many years, I used a font that i thought best reflected the longevity of the Church. This design carried from the front to the back as I wanted the overall effect to have good flow.
