I'm grateful and thank you to John (client) for introducing me to a legendary band, The Grateful Dead, and I instatly hooked with thir songs and spectacular artwork they had, so as reference in mind, I tried to depict a simple hand drawn retro, psychedelic, hippie theme to the logo, and the result is awesome~ :)

The client requested a logo that represents them as a band, and that doesn’t feel like it goes against the grain of the music genre they play. Something kinda playful, but legible, something that doesn't look aggressive, they wanted something that feels sleek, and mature, but hip and the logo must only be one color. So we get pedal to the metal and come up with this. 😃 We decided to go with a skull as a picture element so it can perfectly be incorporated into the logo name. Give it a bit grain to have grunge looking feel to it, and of course all black and white.
