Makeplease Branding

Makeplease is a free online platform that connects freelance makers and people who need custom art and design. The platform needed a total rebrand - including a new logo design, color scheme, badges and icons, visual communication style and overall aesthetic. The client and I easily agreed on the proper direction: funky, fun and fresh, with dynamic and organic influences. The custom logotype, color palette and additional elements are all part of a cohesive image that expresses everything the platform stands for.

Given the very detailed and clear brief, it was a real pleasure to design this logo for a trainer in mindfulness. I chose to draw a set of sun rays to also resemble a shell. The result, warm and feminine, along with the modified handwritten typeset, stands out as modern and timeless at the same time.
