1) We chose the name Sélève because in French it means "rise" and is written s’élè... We would like to incorporate the idea of "rising" or "elevating" in the ... 2) We are Swiss, from the region of Geneva were we have a mountain called Salève which sounds very close to Sélè... 3) And we also really like the design of the letter S
