This Colombian brewery/company is LUPULABS and this "name" combination was inspired by both the "Lupulo" (Spanish word for Hops) & "Laboratorios" (the conditions we operate under) with a higher attention to quality & styles. So, the iconic and obvious symbols are the hop flower/garland "Humulus Lupulus" and laboratory imagery such as a Erlenmeyer flask, test tubes, bearded mad-scientist, chemical/DNA strain or even ancient medical symbols such as the "Ouroboros" can help influence designs in this case.

We're a new kind of bakery only making naturally fermented sourdough breads. They're lower in calories/gluten and a lot more nutritious hence the Wise part. I want to sell nationally via the web so i need a logo that says smart, simple, clean and stylish. Target audience are all the people that love bread but haven't been able to eat it due to current manufacturing processes (most bread made commercially isn't fermented properly and so many people are not able to eat it due to gluten intolerance).

MODERN VINTAGE FOR HISTORIC PUB

When I started designing this logo, I started with typography. We chose a bold type of typography because of the carpentry elements there but it still feels elegant with the addition of inline fonts. In the first upload I only played on typography and the wheat symbol as a raw material for beer, and we were not satisfied with the result, then we made an illustration of a wooden drum barrel as an illustration of "pub" and inserted a new symbol with wheat spoons and forks considering the client also provides food at place of business. After discussing with clients, they finally agreed with the gold color that we submitted.
