Cedar Creek Counseling

Logo for a private practice mental health clinic. I created a Gestalt image concept (see Gestalt theory...) where a cedar tree is subtly the sum of a walking figure and a face figure. That gives the meaning of "walking on the mind".

Residential Real Estate Company

We are well established in the older urban Denver neighborhoods--very trendy area. The most common type of home is the classic bungalow. Streets are tree lined and the neighborhoods have charming coffee shops and great restaurants, very walkable and close to light rail/public transportation. Our clientele is primarily younger 30-something millennials, some with kids, with good jobs and older empty-nesters. Our neighborhoods tend to be very eclectic and homes tend to be on the higher end of the price scale for Denver.

Simple Design with a Fun Twist for Golf Company

The client mentioned in the brief that the logo should be simple and incorporate a specific golf wedge (golf club), their patented technology, and also have a fun twist to it. I integrated the shape of one of their golf clubs in a circle using negative space, resulting in a subtle ninja character that is suggestive of precision, craftsmanship, focus, and exclusivity.

Fisher Medical LLC carries surgical products that are used in the operating rooms, from Spinal Implants, brain valves, to bedsheets. They want a fish in their logo. So I come up with this idea to incorporate a fish in the logo design but it still gives a hint of the medical industry looks to the viewer.

My main focus designing this logo, was to keep it as clean and professional as possible, so that the mark could stand along the already-established banking/atm companies. Additionaly, I wanted to avoid a "GT" combination that would be to obvious, so I combined the two letters into one with only color and negative space separating them.
