This logo is for a Masculine Barbershop, the client asked to create logo representing "Kuwait, downtown, masculinity and tools of a barbershop" so I created "mustache outline" to representing "barbershop/masculinity" and connected to a scissors as "tool of barbershop" with Kuwait skyline to convey "downtown" with modern serif font, and it easy recognizable at a glance.

I’d like to attract old clientele while also appealing to the upcoming generations. If I can think of one word I’d like to used to describe the look I’m going for, I’d say “cool”. I just want it to be a cool shop and a cool logo to use for the shop, beer koozies, t-shirts so on and so fourth. I do not want barbershop items or estd dates in the logo and am looking for just the name of the shop. I’d like it to be bold and catch someone’s attention before even knowing what it says. I’m a fan of classic tattoos as well. If someone mistook my barbershop for a tattoo shop or brewery I wouldn’t be mad. I’m a 80’s/90’s kid as well, so any inspiration from the 80’s/90’s might be cool.

Bô Barbershop is a modern 3 chair barbershop. Bô sounds like beau which means handsome in French. B and O are also the initials of the 2 founders. Bilal is tall (capital letter), and Oliver is normal height and has a mustache (hence the ô with the mustache on top). The Barbershop is inspired by surfing and the outdoors. We need it to be typography based. Subtle. Tasteful. Simple. Modern. And it needs to be very different from Bang and Olufson logo (B&O).
