Name for the business is Ink.Paper.Crafts. and it's a play on Rock, Paper, Scissors but the idea to use paper plan came from the client itself since it is a tribute for her son that made paper plans for her when he was a little boy. We decided to represent three phases of making a paper plane and connect it with a dashed line to make it more creative and connect illustration to a business that represents and that is arts & craft.

Thrill Girl is a mysterious crime novel set in Los Angeles in early 50's. Since the main character is a tabloid journalist I made design with newspapers and typewriter machine with highlighted word MURDER on types. Also, the vintage look was pretty important.

I wanted to incorporate a vintage style into design and make visual continuity with the printing works of old typography masters, yet to give a touch of modernity to the overall design concept.
