The contest aim was to create the dress for unique craft seafood produced in Italy, Sicily. Our proposal implements the points: 1) Target is to attract customer's eyes before the customer will begin to read something on the jar. 2) The customer must feel that the product is much better than usual one. So the engraved image of the fish brings the feeling that the product is intellectual and made/distributed by educated and cultured people. So its quality is very high. 3) The overall feeling is "craft". So it brings the feeling that the product is not made with billions jars over the world with preservatives, GMO's, gluten, etc. The feeling is that product is made by craft company when the company's owner directly participates to the production and distribution process. So the quality is guaranteed. 4) Natural feeling. No bold colors, but colors are very perceptible.

Tartar sauce labels + logo

This project involved a tremendous amount of work, starting with the creation of a logo rooted in a deep story, and extending to the development of an entire set of tartar sauces in different flavors. My idea was to craft something premium in quality, yet inspired by the simple, authentic style of sailors and a strong maritime theme. The sauces were designed to embody the soul of seaside life, moments with friends and family, and a playful spirit. I personally tried this sauce from the company, and without exaggeration, this is the most delicious sauce for seafood I’ve ever tasted.

Sea inspired logo for a restaurant

Website design: https://www.lostatseapas.com/ Pasadena California restaurant owner focused on seafood, wanted a logo inspired with the sea. I used the idea of a bottle drifting on the sea wih the message inside. The octopus arm adds the design more character and close the whole logo. I also use cool handmade fonts that fits to the design spirit. Finally the logo was simplified to the owners request. The website design is simple still elegant.
