City panorama modern line-work logo

Client approached to me needing logo for Orebro fair about building new apartments, living areas and urban planning. He had idea of integrating building crane within medium city skyline silhouette. I didnt wanted to make it so complicated and didnt think crane was a good idea but after some discussion with client and figuring out purpose of this logo I decided to give it a try. I used simple outlines of various building and house shapes, creating visually interesting skyline and integrated building crane with few details on it. With a touch of couple tree shapes it really stood out and I think it was major improvement over previous logo they had. Client was really happy with results and hope it will be even happier when it goes live.

Premium Sake

The client required a captivating and bold label for their new brand of premium Nihonshu/Sake. They wanted the label to incorporate references to the crane symbology with energetic vibes. To achieve this, I developed the visuals using organic diagonal shapes that resemble flowing rivers and utilized color combinations commonly found in Asian cultures. Golden foil embellishments were added to highlight the brand name and a small crane symbol. Finally, a horizontal dark blue band was used to ground and contain the product information.

Logo design Sandhill Crane Society

Logo design for the Sandhill Crane Society, a specialty program of the non-profit Friends of Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in honor of their top generous supporters. The final design features an adult Sandhill Crane making a bold yet elegant step beyond - a metaphor for top donors going above and beyond in their financial support. The design incorporates local mountains in the frame as a nod to the organization's main logo and some of its colors. The bird integrates reed and local vegetation in positive and negative space. This 1-to-1 project was a pleasure to work on. 2023.

Elegant logo for Japanese green tea company

The logo is designed like a Japanese stamp seal. I made stylized crane that is also shaped like a stem and leaves of the tea plant. The word "tea" is made like a stamp seal and the letters are arranged vertically to resemble Japanese lettering. This way, both the icon and the lettering part could be used separately keeping clear association to Japan and tea related business. SOLD! As this Sake includes gold leaves inside the bottle, I designed a square label to serve as the base for origami. The foldings were designed to be stamped in gold foil on heavy cotton paper. The product name would be embossed and lacquered.
