BUSINESS WIRE -- 99designs.com is auctioning off its Webby Award acceptance speech to raise money to support the oil spill relief efforts of The Gulf Restoration Network. 99designs will use its 5-word speech to thank the highest bidder on stage at the Webby Award Gala in New York City on Monday, June 14th.

Here is how it works:

  • 99designs will collect bids via email (press@99designs.com) until 12:00 pm PT on Monday, June 14th.
  • Bidding starts at $1,000 and increases in $1,000 increments.
  • The money will be donated directly from the highest bidder to The Gulf Restoration Network and is 100% tax deductible.
  • 99designs will use its 5-word speech to thank the highest bidder on stage at the Webby Award Gala in New York City: “Thanks for your donation (COMPANY NAME)”
