Since Mattie is no longer with us I wanted to incorporate her as a tribute in a polite way and not as a classical graphical representation.
I did include the woman`s face by cleverly incorporating it as a coffee cup that steams and the steam can be viewed as a shiny strand of hair as well. The ear that is not covered is also the coffee cup handle at the same time.
Since it`s the bookstore as well, I have added the coffee bean below the company name and incorporated both the open book line and M letter so it can act as a minimal symbol of its own when branding.
Since the logo is shown in a form of an emblem, the lower part is looking like the bookmark so it is a node to the book store part of the company as well.")

The logo, therefore, combines the letters S and A, a lightning bolt, the circle as the symbol of perfection and the spaces that break it to symbolize two rotating parts that form it and that are standing for renewable energy.

The main goal was to present a rustic house in the west with its surroundings to bring the whole feel closer to the viewer.
It`s all there: The nice old cozy house, the cactuses in the desert with the desert rocks rising above it in the distance, the negative space of the mountains behind, and the sun above all of the elements on the top pictured as red half-circle behind the mountains.
The logo is shown also with a wider picture and scenery at the bottom with the surroundings seen better with more details...")

I have added the pinstriping surroundings for the cool factor and for the nice rounded effect of the logo.
The moose itself is really mean and tough looking with the execution of it.
They are the site maintenance sector and the main company logo is incorporated into the lower part of an emblem below the company name.")

The request was to design the crow that is standing on top of four gold bars for them and I had felt really inspired to provide them with the best possible logo for that purpose.
I have even kept the three liquid gold streams that has been a center piece of their past logo. For the sake of the branding I have designed them a few variants that they can use later on for various types of branding.")

After some quick sketching I came up with an idea that combined crown (which was one of their suggested items), blunt top (middle point on the crown) and K letter.
After that I have executed it in a few logo forms including main horizontal emblem and some rounded badge like emblems that could work very well for future branding.
I even created them some nice patterns to use in printing on inside of the packaging.")
