How Toki Poke started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a fast-casual product that will serve poké bowls. The customer gets to build their own bowls from a selection of rice, greens, fish, toppings, and sauces . Our target audience is the millenial crowd, specifically young professionals from both white-collar and creative industries
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
We do not have a particular color in mind but would like to explore colors one would associate the ocean, whether it is the water, the interior of a beach house or even any dock or beach activities. We will consider anything so long as it is appropriate for a restaurant that serves poke.
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
2 must haves in the logo: name and a graphic of a fish. We intend to feed our community with the freshest of ingredients (including fish and produce). The goal is to briefly transport our customer's mind away from the daily grind to their favorite vacation spot on the water. The interior design of our restaurant will be light and bright with mostly neutral colors (e.g., white, gray) but pops of other colors interspersed throughout, and we would like our logo to reflect that. The feeling our customers should get from seeing our logo is clean, modern, warm, and inviting.
