Trueform Music aims to provide its artists with the tools necessary to succeed independently or in the music mainstream. Trueform brings to the table a cadre of experts in sound, art and career development, aiming to make musicians into sustainable entrepreneurs. With the founder I had a long and involved discussion on the nature of inspiration. We wanted the mark to speak to the concept of "flow state": a state of consciousness where something higher is engaged; where inspiration flows through the artist, rather than being generated by them. A state where the artist taps into something preexisting, and larger. They connect with their true form. We settled on this mark, that aims to represent energy and transformation.

Logo for appers coming together as a group

Part of the way the group came together was on a song called Shark Party, which had the line "Watch out for the Four Fins" - which led to us doing music together. Hence, we reference ourselves as the Fins and make shark related wordplay... We had some ideas about using the 4 as a shark fin, or the 4F as a shark fin and the trails of water. The letters of the logo are made of 4 fins.
