A Funky Waffle Logo and Character/Mascot Concept

Base from the brief I have first sketch the character, backgrounds and the over-all layout of texts in Photoshop. After the sketch I decided to traced and colored each elements using Pentool -Shape in Photoshop. However since the output exporting a PSD file in AI is not desirable. I just simply merge all shapes paste it on Illustrator then manually color each shape.

My design contains a car and two text zone. We can read this logo in two ways. First the car and the ".com" which can be translate or which can refers to cars online. Online cars are either for selling or buying. The second part "bimicar" as bold as it is can let us think of an organization, a company. I placed it under the car and the ".com" to create a visual link between both parts. I also put an accent to the "word" car to give more strength and presence to the industry or activity involved in this logo.
