Logo design for Qi Harmony Acupuncture.

The icon features simplified birds in a rotational symmetry that alludes to the classic yinyang symbol with a dot of the opposite entity as part of each shape (bird eye). The yinyang is closely associated with the concept of Qi and symbolizes the balance of opposing forces. Birds, charismatic animals known for their harmonious sounds, often are associated with health, relaxation and wellness. Their pointy beaks in the design are a subtle nod to acupuncture. Leaves are providing a frame and add visual balance. The chosen color palette pairs different blues and is complemented by a combo of traditional serif, modern sans serif and a casual script typeface. 2023, 1-to-1 project.

Little Ninja Acupuncturist

The client wanted a cute (but not overly) ninja mascot to soften the preconceptions of people that might want to explore acupuncture as a form of treatment yet are reluctant because of the needle usage. I believe this mascot achieves that goal and the client was very pleased with it.
