Logo and brand guide for a technology startup

Logo and brand guide for a company that enables other companies to manage flexible workplace. They offer a web and mobile application where employees can book a desk at the office. Came up with a unique wordmark, with a great fell of “simplicity” and “approachability” (round fonts), which stands for their brand values. The “i” letter levels up all the other letters and give a great balance to the logo. The boldness of the font gives a sense of security and competence (feels that they know what they do and they are not afraid to share it). The bright color suggests that the company brings the innovation feel.

A book that is a collection of stories about six friends from Missouri who long to start a new life in a big city but have trouble finding their way. Used an outline of the state of Missouri, not to be specific but enlarged and carried over both covers to provide an interesting shape. Used casual handwritten fonts to represent a personal and friendship quality, kind of a doodling look. The arrows moving out from the text and shapes reinforce the concept of being anywhere but here and trying to find a way. The arrows lead you throughout the title and through the authors name. A place on the back echoes the front design and gives a place for the names of each short story.

This was a fun project, the client needs a young logo for a European mobile-app that allows young European to talk about politics, get involve in it, to speak their mind for a better Europe and vote. And it have to work without any words so basically it needs to be understood without any text / typography. Actually that's what interest me the most. So I want to make the logo obvious, simple, young and to have it easily recognize as an icon. After a couple of drawings, I decided on the one that I think work. I combined the voting hands with a mobile signal to represents a mobile voting device. At first it was blue and green but then the client needs the logo all in one color, a blue logo. So here it is.
