Most IT advertisers charge using per-use business model, based on how many clicks or installs an ad receives. There are many bad actors out there who try to exploit advertising budgets by creating fraudulent clicks and installs. SpiderAF is an IT advertising security tool which detects and prevents such ad fraud. Specifically, it automatically clean and analyzes advertising logs and performs regular surveillance of an advertising company’s media. The program further compares with network and UID blacklists and scores each advertising agency based on several data sources. A high score means a fraudulent location, while a low score means SpiderAF was not able to make a definitive judgment.

My original design focused on a single spider web from the NASA experiment which then could lead to a series of shirts with the different webs for the different drugs given to spiders along with the space shuttle. Then the decision was made to use multiple webs so that there could be various shirts about the experiment instead of about the specific drugs, as well as changing to a rocket instead of the shuttle.

Spiders have 8 legs and are master builders, with their webs symbolizing creativity and precision. Traits: patience, efficiency, and problem-solving—qualities that are ideal for a service-based business. For the color palette, I used a combination of yellow and green as suggested, along with black-grayish tones and white for balance.
