Fun yet serious logo for an exciting new community driven online casinos reviews site

GamblersPick is a community website where users can join in, review and share their experiences while playing at any online casino or a casino game. They can basically rate, review, comment on what other users posted and easily find the top online casinos rated by the community. The customer wanted to stay away from the usual symbolism connected with casinos. With that in mind I came up with a simple yet memorable symbol combining a speech bubble with a star. The speech bubble conveys the community, communication and sharing aspect. The star in its center symbolizes the rating and reviewing feature. In addition to this the star works also as a symbol for casinos, as we find stars on slot machines, casino chips and even on casino logos. The lower edge of the speech bubble gives a hint to the aspect of pointing to (or picking the) top online casinos.

SaaSList is a business software comparison and review company. My idea was to create a wordmark that include a list so I used the letter “i” with the following dots which represents a rotated at 90 degrees list, making them in different shades of blue meaning comparison.
