logo for Latitude 48

The name of the establishment "Latitude 48" refers to the hop belt. Or line of latitude that the majority of the worlds best beer hops are grown on. I chose an armillary sphere because this instrument was used for determine the latitude but also because it is a very beautiful object! I replaced the ball that traditionally occupies the center of the sphere with a hop cone.

Transforming the old website into modern responsive design is necessary as the previous owner was looking to sell their business. I designed a layout which can complement their branding, food photos and also look user-friendly on smartphone, without having to read/scroll too much. I didn't win the contest, but made it to the final stage. Although this is a good pizza-themed website design, there can only be one winner.
