I designed the poster to focus on the lead female who is a beautiful middle aged cafe owner, serving a bloody slice of cherry pie, with a red mysterious half smile as if she was hiding something evil that audience didn't know.

The contest holder needs an older style movie poster. The design must incorporate photography and gun shooting in any ways without using guns. Which is why i came up with a bulls-eye target and camera shutter, got a better outcome and won.")

The client requested a cover in the style of a vintage movie poster, featuring seven key characters dressed in 1930s fashion.
Each character was designed and rendered based on client-provided sketches, then fully colored and illustrated with a semi-realistic style to bring them to life. I carefully arranged them in a central composition to reflect their roles and personalities, while using a red-to-black gradient background to enhance the drama and vintage tone.
The typography was chosen to evoke a theatrical and classic feel, with gold lettering for a premium touch. The project also included spine and back cover layout, with a clean and print-ready final file.
