Thus, I had the idea of underlining the specific character of the loveseat – the piece of furniture that inspired the store’s name – by placing two other personified pieces of furniture in the composition, sitting on it; these give the design a playful and spontaneous feel and expressivity through their postures and sinuous, modulated lines and through the inherent contrast between them and the rigidity and stillness associated with furniture.")

The font used here is elegant, with a hint of playfulness, with a flowing line and clear and easy to read. Since the logo is going to be print in a very small size on bags it was crucial that the logo is clean and straightforward.
The target audience is men and women who rides bikes 18-45; daily commuters, weekend riders, and everyone in between and will also most likely live and or work in a city environment. Therefore the color choice was clear to me. Black and white resembles an urban lifestyle.
The custom type swash of the R is supposed to reflect the bike bags which are attached to the bike frame.")

The image of the bee, placed in the center of the logo, represents the connection, the binding between the written elements and between these elements and itself, thus giving the whole – the logo – a unitary character and reflecting community through relationships between people. I tried to illustrate here the flexibility and adaptability of the logo by showing it in two distinct possible ways of presentation (with the bee in full color and, alternatively, only in line and highlighted by a textured drop of color), illustrating at the same time how the logo’s personal, distinctive character is preserved beyond the possible ways of its usage.")

I tried to create an organic connection between the wording and the image, so that together they create a unitary whole (although the mark can easilly stand alone representing the boutique). I chose to show here the logo in two versions: in line only, in an appealing colour that can match products for both boys and girls and in colour; for this version I chose to use primary colours in bright tones, in order to perserve simplicity and to illustrate that the items are dedicated to kids.")

This visual symbol seemed to me to be in perfect correspondence to the name (Bunny Rabbit Boxes) and activity of this business. I tried to give a solid and stable feel to the design and at the same time give it a playful character. I used a handwritten font to give the design dynamicity and a more spontaneous feel and I emphasized the link between text and image by placing it in a certain visual relationship to the other elements, in a certain place in the composition. I wanted to suggest rather than illustrate and this design seems to me to be challenging the border between the two.")
