why i m not selected in final round ????????
Good Day,
Thank you for your entries, the finalists have been chosen based on our poll of over 150 people. Each of you will be sent instructions for modifying your design. We appreciate the hard work and look forward to getting started with you.
I redesign my work, but I'm late.
Almost out of time, just 58 minutes left, get your designs in!
Here you go with the design... Feedback would be really much appreciated.
To clarify, we are very much still accepting new entries up until the last possible moment.
Please review designs we like, comments and feedback at http://www.laffoutloudapp.com/scree…round1.png
Just a few hours left to submit your design, submit it now and you would have at least a 25% chance at the grand prize. Remember this contest doesn't end here either, the winning designer will be designing internal pages and such for weeks to come
I would like to submit more designs, but I dont have any feedback to see in which way my design should go.I can do web in 1000 ways, but it's just 10h till it ends the contest. And I dont have an example of what do you think, only what app do and what is all that app about. To continue I will need website example( just style to be sure).
Only 4 designs have been submitted. Hurry up and get your designs in so you don't miss this great opportunity to win this guaranteed design contest!
Additional Screen Mockups can be found at http://www.laffoutloudapp.com/screenmockups.zip
Please message me for additional app screen shots.
Keep the designs coming! I love the work everyone is doing, and if everything goes as it seems it will on this design, I will certainly be inviting the top designers back to bid on more designs. This is our first design contest, normally we use our in house design staff, but I could see us using this service a lot for websites and app designs. We currently do 10+ new projects a month and I would love to give my repeat designers a chance at all of these.
The contest holder has guaranteed to award the prize!
Please be aware that the winner of this contest will be asked to contract separately for the remaining pages designs, there will be a variety of pages to complete and there will likely be long term need as well.
Good Day,
The application is a bit hard to explain right off the bat without seeing it, but I will do my best.
Basically it works like most applications. You download it and register for an account, you can use your facebook, google+, etc. login, or create your own. Then you create your friends list.
From there it's on to sending messages. Each message is a multimedia message and can consist of 6 elements that play out on the receivers screen in order.
These elements can be chosen in any order from the available media types. For example you can start off with text, that flows into an animation you drew, to a picture, followed by sound effect. These all play out on the screen like a movie as part of your message.
Media Types are:
Text Message (Also supports speech to text)
Drawing/Animation, you can use your finger or stylus to draw a single frame picture and send it, or you can also animate your picture, one of our examples is that someone draws a flower on screen, and it has the petals fall off one by one as they say "He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not" which is a popular girls thing.
Comix allow you to add logos to your text, like "Bam" "Splat" "Poof", samples of these can be seen on the splash page sample I uploaded.
Audio - You can record and send audio as part of your message, something you have to say, or a clip of the band you are listening to, etc.
Pre-Recorded Audio - These are things like Cheers, Laughs, Farts, etc. that you can send.
Photos - You can snap a picture, and then add bubble captions, or draw on devil horns, etc.
Videos - You can capture a video, and then edit it with captions and Comix to add MTV Popup Video flare.
Comicons - These are pre recorded sayings that have icon graphics with them that play out on screen, samples would be "What you sayin?", "No you didn't", "Uh Huh", "I thought so!", etc.
Finally there are the traditional emoticons, animated for flare and much larger in size. These are things like smily faces, hearts, flowers, etc.
Once you have compiled all these it's sent to the receiver much like a standard text, except from inside the app. They will open it up, and see your picture, name, etc. and then the message will play for them.
