    Thank you very much @WildOne for those kind words... We are indeed aiming for a speedy recovery. Norway is still the peaceful, open society we were, and will not let a mass murderer change that.

    @athenabelle I suppose you're expressing your support of #160.

    Our design community would like to express our sincere condolences over yesterday’s terrorist attacks, which killed a lot of innocent people. Our community shares your sorrow over the grave and irreparable losses. We wish a speedy recovery to those injured.

    I am not the only one making the final decisions, so even though I have given a low rating, or eliminated your designs, please don't withdraw your work.

    Thank you everyone for an exciting logo contest, I expect to be posting more contests where many of you will be invited!

    Luckily (for me) it is not up to me alone to choose a winner. We'll probably use most of the next fourteen days to choose, there's lots to choose from. I've learnt a lot and hope to make a better brief for the next contest.

    Special thanks to WildOne who had the first entry and stayed with us, Dimutru who commented publicly, danarocha who was extremely creative and active, L. Bogdan for setting the standard for showing the logo in b/w, razvart for lots of activity early on, and athenabelle who read the whole brief and provided a favicon (although the brief didn't specificly ask for it).

    If someone wants to try their hand last minute I suggest they try with other colors (possibly in addition to the ones I rated higher), there's a lot of grey and greyish in here. Red is always attractive...

    Or on print in general, also in color.

    True Dumitru, it is a clear advantage that the logo works in b/w also.

    Which entry are you referring to Dumitru?

    The way L. Bogdan has shown his entries in b/w is good and welcome from others too.

    Print really isn't very important for this project though.

    6 colors in a logo...a bit too much....how about the b/w version for print proposes?

    You might have noticed that I've awarded the first four star rating. This is primarily because I've starved you of four star ratings. And it is of course because of my own personal taste, which could differ a lot from my colleagues which I hope to consult tomorrow.

    What I particularly like about #133 is that it is elegant, simple and serious.

    It has a certain degree of symbolism in it, as the X can be interpreted as people, unfortunately as people with their hands up, which isn't really that suitable in this project. Also the color could probably be better.
