Other notes
I wanted to provide everyone with as much info as possible to give you a clear idea of what were looking for.
* The short version of everything below is that were looking for a creative and attractive logo for a commercial film company that will conveys a style, sophistication, and professionalism.
* Examples:
We’ve provided some pictures of some camera but you can feel free to use anything film related (other film cameras, film reels, screen, etc. . .
* Business Focus:
We’re a commercial film company.
* Style:
Something that represents the item closely enough that you can identify what it is but not so exact that it looks like someone just redraw or “vectorized” it. So if you decided to base the logo around a camera, it should looked like a camera to the extent that people can tell what it is but abstract enough that is does just look like a plain camera.
* How Logos will be judged:
- Creativity
- Overall appeal
- Logo
- Typography
**Having some aspect of symbolism is a plus
* Keep In Mind:
No one will be eliminated from the contest without being given feedback and at least one opportunity to alter or resubmit a design. We appreciate your involvement and realize that this is how you make your living. Feel free to ask questions at anytime even before submitting a design we will monitor the contest closely and respond quickly.

If you use fonts that require a license, confirm with the client they're ok with it. For licensing reasons, it is better to provide your client with information on how to acquire the font rather than providing the actual files.
Text in logos should be converted to outlines.
