The pictorial nature of the logo was very helpful when designing the template. It dictated the usage of pictorial icons instead of lineal ones, and components from the logo were also used in the \"table of elements\" and \"section divider\" slides.
Additionally, considering that the client operates in the IT Security sector, a modern technological feel was therefore adopted, with the use of several device mockups and other graphic elements.

The design's layout was mostly shaped by the firm’s line of work and their website (the company is a patent law firm that develops patents to protect their clients).
The firm used a really cool orange color in their website, that presented a nice contrast with their initial dark blue and purple logo colors, and was introduced in the template as well.
Considering that the company’s clients operate in the technology field (software development, computer security...), an aesthetically clean, modern and conservative design arrangement was adopted for the deck.

The client was looking for a specific set of slides and wanted the template to be playful, suitable for written reports, with a digital look and feel.
My take on the ”playful” part was to mimic the look of the firm’s logo by adding a brush stroke as a background for the slide’s number, plus a couple different brushes in the “introduction” and “slide divider” sections, to additionally give them a more prominent presence in the overall work.
As for the “suitable for written reports with a digital look and feel” part, it was attained by the addition of bullet texts, graphs, images, icons and vectors laid out in a creative manner throughout the various slides of the template.

Since this was done for a specific product of the company, a thorough understanding was completed before and during the design process. Each slide designed was meant to depict a specific element of the product, hence the diversified deck.
The hexagonal shape of the logo was applied along the template to give the deck a little bit of character and to enforce the presence of the company, especially that the presentation is used as a pitch deck for investors, and is most of the time up against a lot of other competitors.
