Logo design for Portland pits

Portland Pits sells steel firepits made in Portland, Oregon. These fire pits are designed to last a lifetime. Your fire deserves a better home. For the logo, we were thinking a line slanted on the left and a line slanted on the right and a line underneath to represent the shape of the pit with Portland Pits the name in between, or something similar. As a second variation, we also thought of the above with a line drawing of Mt Hood rising above the Portland Pits to represent the area we are from.
