Simple yet smart logo design

Great minimal and simple logo design for discount shopping website that ended up as unused proposal. Smart play on company name with coupons and fairy looking castle and crops turned out so well I was disapointed client decided to take another road.. The client wants to recreate his former logo while not looking to completely change it to something else (in order to be still recognizable to old clients) but still wants to freshen it up. so I decided to hand-draw my interpretation of the brief. while still accommodating the former weathervane, i added some classic tower drawing that stands through the clouds on the blue sky. emphasizing the ability the client has to build glorious buildings. I used ballpoint pen to draw the picture.

The Riverside Country Club is the premium golf and curling club located in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Established in 1897. Designing this logo was wonderful experience, first i provided the client using golf player and other golf related creative stuff, i received some good feedback from client and then they explained that its not only for golf but for multiple sports and would like to see history in their logo, so i designed to change my thinking point of view and then came up with new ideas and this was one of them using abstract tree river and castle to represent concept according to client requirement.

After a lot of brainstorming i finally came up with this idea and client was happy to accept it as final.. After finalization client wanted versions in my different versions, like, only symbol, only text , only flat etc.. total 12 folders were provided in final files it took lot of time.
