Altrough the brand's name obviously reflects a cheese shop, the client wanted to somehow indicate that they also serve wine, beer and food. The process of creating this design was great and quite funny. The goal was to find a well-balanced composition of three elements, that represents a bohemian, vintage, farmhouse space with a touch of whimsy :)

Client approach to me with desire to design a logo for a prented American Football Bowl game called Borden Grazing Bowl. We ended up with this illustrative version consisting of table on top of grazing custom typography followed with ball that cleverly integrate spoon and fork as part of it. We say “We are not refined but the wines and cheese we offer are.” We enjoy getting together with friends regularly and try new brands of wine and cheese. We want to promote the excitement of trying new cheeses & wines from boutique producers you won't find on the shelves of "big box" stores. We sell a monthly wine and cheese pairing subscription box. We pair domestic & international, boutique, small batch wines with domestic and international cheeses. We share the story and passion of the wine & cheese producers and promote “tastings” with friends. We are "blue collar" wine drinkers with a rebellious flare. UN-Raffiné means "Not Refined" in French. We'd like a logo that "appears" refined but not. What if we played with the way the "UN-" looks in UN-Raffine? Maybe a different font and size so it looks good but "not refined".

Wiscongo! is a new board game that is similar to bingo but uses pictures instead of numbers. This game is geared specifically towards people from Wisconsin (the U.S. state) hence the name Wiscongo! (Wisconsin+bingo). We are targeting the nostalgia of Wisconsinites, or "cheeseheads" as we are fondly known, with this new game idea.
