This logo was used for a fun competition to find the “best” turkey sandwich in an emergency room in the US! There is always a turkey sandwich in the fridge of any US emergency room, ready to be given to ER patients. So, I created a design that combines the turkey sandwich with the ambulance as an iconic part of the emergency department. Then, I wrapped them in an award badge.

Since the company focuses on the discovery and production of proteins/peptides for use in animal protection from diseases, the goal was to communicate strength and reliability. Specifically, the client wanted to incorporate a shield with an abstract biological peptide shape. The solution was this organic, unique-looking icon that represents the ribbon-like properties of peptides forming a shield. In combination with the clean, rounded typeface, the logo implies honesty and professionalism.
