With all the news regarding TikTok's privacy and the rising urge people to see and be seen on social media, the symbolism of Dali's eyes emerging from the logo is a perfect Surrealist fit.

Cosmic heat death for 99d Community Contest

Designers were to illustrate a song in a particular style. I chose “Walking on Sunshine,” by Katrina and The Waves, in the style of “airbrush surrealism.” I hate the song. I lived through it, back in 1985. To their credit, the band disliked the song too. By their words, they were a “a second-on-the-bill-at-a-festival-in-Germany” pop band, but they had this song. At any rate, as I see it, this is the Last Man; a post-apocalyptic vision of an exile from a future civilization, who finds, at his lowest ebb, with everything gone and destroyed, that he can walk in the inferno of a raging star. Literally, walking on sunshine. To me — and as a counter-point to finger-snapping, upbeat, lockstep optimism — the digging up of this song from ancient history to accompany the destruction of humanity would represent infinite pathos, which is our best defense when kneeling before fate.

"Mugen" means Infinity (無限), dream and fantasy (夢幻) in Japanese language, a deep meaning and philosophy, the owner is definitely great at choosing name for their business and I think it's really beautiful, so I decided to combine Japanese illustration style with Oregon quirky & avant-garde culture and it's well known beautiful diverse landscape into a dreamy & fantastical scene. Surreal with a twist of happiness, a typical scene where you find on a mind blowing anime, with seemingly never ending noodle to represent infinity. A result of translating what the client said: "Infinity dream and fantasy of noodles. Never stop creating and innovating new recipe" into a stunning artpiece that customers can enjoy while they eat a bowl of tasty ramen noodle. :) So if you are Near Portland, Oregon, make sure to visit okay! :)

A piece of artwork needs to connect. It needs to have some element of truth to it that resonates with the viewer and leaves them something after they’ve left the piece. It articulates something we’ve felt, and we connect to that thing in a way where words aren’t necessary. It’s a feeling that’s hard to describe but makes us feel less alone in a way—that someone else understands us and gives a voice to this thing inside us. This artwork is focusing on fundamental aspects of our shared humanity; Tolerance, cooperation, inclusion, unity and respect for diversity. Help us to understand and intelligently respond to the complexity of who we are, how we live and what we value most. Taking advantage of a 99 designs contest based on the phrase "Creativity meets Possibility" I think about this concept. Back in high school at a statistics lecture, the professor told that zero possibility does not exists statistically so, everything has the possibility to exist even if the chance is very low. That lesson somehow mark the path I follow as an artist, close to surrealism and it's the memory that came to mind by the "Creativity meets possibility" theme. In this case, the meeting point is a flying turtle, or a turtle with a creative idea that gives it the possibility to fly.

A brewery ask for line art for their beer labels, in particular for a new brand their were making for a pizza shop in Chicago. They use to have some surreal themes on their previous labels so I went for a bass (usual catch in the Chicago Area) fishing using pizza as bait. Instead of a boat he has a big bucket.

This design was created for Prolific Machines, a biotech company pioneering photomolecular biology. Their technology uses red and blue light to precisely control how cells function, enabling the creation of therapeutic proteins, cultured meat, and more. The brief requested a bold, psychedelic T-shirt that blends sci-fi tech with surreal, organic imagery. Inspired by Moebius, Roger Dean, and Jason Galea, I envisioned a glowing bioreactor as a sacred space-temple. Red and blue light form pulsating vines that grow alien fruits — each symbolizing a product made possible by their technology. Rising above it all is the company logo, radiating like a synthetic sun. The artwork combines vivid retro colors and layered detail to convey the theme “illuminating biology’s limitless potential.” Designed for screen printing on white or tie-dye fabric, it’s meant to feel like a band shirt — bold, strange, and unforgettable.

Famous brands in a Surrealist style. Chosen Artist : Joan Miró Logo created for : Rockstar Games. I made the famous Rockstar games logo in to a Joan Miro art style. His artworks reflects many simple and organic shapes and it forms a childlike artworks with bright color palates. Most of his artworks does have a line art style star like symbol, and here I used the exact technique to showcase the iconic star in the Rockstar Games logo and made that stars like a in game wanted level in the top right corner. Paintings of Joan Miró considered as "assassination of painting" to traditional paining methods, Rockstar games are little bit violent and filled with killings. So combining the ideology of Joan Miró and his childlike structure to a video game company does match very well together.
