Company’s name was conceived with science fiction and fantasy in mind. Thus, we set out to create a logo that would capture both of these qualities.
We went with a monogram as the icon for the logo and hexagons as the base. Then incorporated diamond shaped branes/planes that were arranged horizontally and vertically. Different shading to various aspects of those shapes gave them the appearance of being transparent, layered, and three-dimensional. Which also brought forth triangle shapes. The combination of which helped depict not only M, O, and E, but also the concept of spacetime and the universe.
The ‘O’ in the monogram helped us express magic. Giving off the appearance that you are looking at the top of a crystal. The various shades of the shapes that represent the 'O' were also important for this effect.")

The design has a dark and mysterious atmosphere, not only to match the story, but also to better catch the attention and curiosity of the potential buyers/readers.
Not showing too much of the interior of the ship, also allows everyone to imagine it in its own way, when they read the descriptions on the book.")

This story of Coco’s life is about how to overcome abuse and violence and find love and harmony permanently. The main concern of the writer is to make her readers strong and to encourage them to heal themselves and free them from outside regulation.
There is an element of “magic” that needed to be present in the design, in order to transmit not just the atmosphere of the novels but also the system used by the author in the healing process. The unexpected color of the yellow clouds helped to achieve this effect, as well as the “flying dandelions” that represent the freedom achieved during this process.
These special details were also used to keep a consistency in all the books of the series.")

The illustration shows the ferocious pirate Captain Black Bekhar with his feared axe, that fights along side with the invaders, against the troops of the Three Kingdoms (that we see on the cover).
This is a Fantasy series, potentially marked as YA but that also has a lot of violent action and adventure.")

The request of the author was to represent James in the environment of Campus Gaea (a scouting style camp), following some characteristics of the tents (colors, shape, placement) in order to match the descriptions on the book.
The wolf (a character that guards the camp) and the Phoenix (a beautiful, flame red colored, large bird that is James companion) were also some of the requested details.")

I designed a stylized raven to incorporate in the main zone of the shield, very much in the style of the ancient heraldic and tribal symbols. The main challenge was to have the eye right at the center, making it almost “alive”. This also helped to represent the shield as something special and unique.
The other request of the author was to have a nautical feel, as most of the book takes place at sea or in port.")

This is a story about the search for a magic sword, which needed to figure prominently on the cover. The descriptions of the author leaded to a Viking style, with a touch of horror and almost alien feel.
In the design I wanted to transmit that the sword had special characteristics, a unique piece, that would seem almost “alive”.
However it wasn’t easy to decide where the main details should be placed, in order to keep it “usable”, as it were a real sword that is meant to be handled and strong enough to fight a battle.
The eyes in the background and the big red moon helped to give the desired impact.")

The design shows one of the scenes of the story, when the main character finds a chest in a tower containing the Vampire Queen's heart... but then a spider as large as a dog attacks.
The details that I added to the wooden chest, not only help to place the story within medieval times, but they also give a strange and mysterious appearance to this unique piece, as it had been requested by the author.
All the book covers of this series are substantially different but they all have the same strange and menacing atmosphere.")
