Occasionally it happens that a mark one creates consciously for one project actually fits another even better, and I love when such accidents happen.
A certain amount of dissonance enters, and can be creative in and of itself.

The client was using a tree as their logo and wanted to refresh its branding image, to have a simple solution that will stand out.
I have decided to continue with a tree theme, included the first letter of the business name and consequently created a playful and luxurious image.
The tree leaves are formed in golden ratio and are distributed in a seemingly random order, creating order from chaos thus presenting the landscaping company.
The branding image is completed with a luxurious and precise choice of typography.")

With company's main clients being architects, property developers and realtors, the idea was to show them how BDM3d brings their \"dry\" blueprints and numbers into life through vivid 3D images. This is reflected in the logo which shows a basic sketch (the left side) morphing into a three dimensional shape with shadings and simulated transparencies.")

The mark therefore includes a peculiar treatment of shapes to create a silhouette of a house in the negative space between M and 1. The reference is fairly subtle and doesn't interfere with the firm, precise look aimed at construction estimators, architects and building supervisors.")

Both letters share the exact same foundation - except obviously for rotation and an extra vertical on B - in order to appear highly uniform and consistent.
The accent color container for the initials is very important here as it solidifies the logo against anything around it (crucial when used in isolation as well) and provides a much sharper contrast as well. Curvature on top and the bottom soften the rigidity and imply the modern architectural touch.
The logo is flexible enough to work in a variety of layouts and color arrangements, including pure black and white.")
