BRIEF
The client was looking for a logo representing Lodewijk van Heiden and offered a portrait for reference.
DESIGN PROCESS
\"Lodewijk van Heiden having a coffee\" was the concept I presented to the client.
I used an old portrait of Lodewijk van Heiden as a reference to create the character for this design. Then I added the arm and the cup of coffee to complete the idea.
The client requested only 2 modifications: a half smile on the face of the character (in the original portrait he is very serious) and that I specifically use that yellow color in the design, as a background for the character.
Once this was done, the project was complete.")

The idea was to present the conceptual solution through a photo realistic drawing. The drawing is made by hand. The portrait is drawn with graphite pencils. The drawing was subsequently refined and adapted in the adobe illustrator. The name of the special edition \"Don Antonio\" is handwritten in the form of a golden signature, which further adds to the aesthetics. The packaging design is minimal, modern, noticeable, luxurious and simply special.")

The program i used to draw the illustration is adobe illustrator. The illustration is original and no stock photos of files were used. The poster can easily be used for a book cover, where the visual content would look quite striking and recognizable. For the figures, I chose this setting because I think it seems more harmonious.
A person growing out of the cracks of a depressed person, is presented as a “fresh tree”. A healthy person shines and grows upwards towards the lights. As for color, I chose this minimal variant. The shirt of the psychologist Abraham Maslow should represent a network, in fact the monotony and closedness in which the mind is in a state of depression.
This is how I see the transformation of a depressed person into a healthy and stable one.
The illustration could be further upgraded, but as a setting itself it seems quite clear and solid.")
