Pasadena California restaurant owner focused on seafood, wanted a logo inspired with the sea. I used the idea of a bottle drifting on the sea wih the message inside. The octopus arm adds the design more character and close the whole logo. I also use cool handmade fonts that fits to the design spirit. Finally the logo was simplified to the owners request. The website design is simple still elegant.")

Kids usually don´t really like to be call \"babies\", once they feel that they are grown up, but the effects of the Red Dye 40 seems to make them like babies: Hyperactivity, bad humor, trouble concentrating, that´s why I represent those problems in this monster, and add the diapers.
It has little feet and hands so the kids don´t see him as a threat (diapers also help), even with the big mouth and rotten teeth.")

My approach was a combination of traditional Carroll's mad mixes with the line drawing style of the classic illustrations by John Tenniel.
Instead of Alice going down the hole, we have a rabbit-in-the-hat and a posh pigeon going out.
It was hand drawn and inked on paper, color is digital.

Teff is a kind of is an grass, native to Ethiopia and Eritrea. The seeds of this plant are getting very popular in todays kitchen. The reference to the origin of it was my idea during my first sketches. This is how this idea evolved into the modern and organic design. The Contest Holder liked this idea from the beginning too and the design was picked in the first stage of the contest. The website design was also keept in the same african feeling.")

Healthcare, Legal, Insurance, Government, and Educational Professionals. These are professional and corporate persons.
Style
Even though the audience was corporate, we don't want a traditional corporate style. Language network wanted the banner to stand out visually from similar organizations and be eye-catching.
The style should be clean and simple with use of brand colors. See the brand guide attached.
Language Network liked the use of interpreters as background with gradient colors over them. They preferred images of cross-cultural communication if stock photos were to be used, any persons also had to be smiling in the image.")
