I was inspired by little pretty soaps my mother used to have in a spare bathroom that we weren't allowed to use!
I combed through thousands of san serif typefaces to find one that was readable very small and had robust but feminine qualities.
Then I paired it with lower contrast palettes and added a letterpress stamped effect to it, giving the wordmark a depth that the customer can feel.
All in all I'm very pleased with how this turned out.")

I studied numerous examples of old leather books as reference, and created this design so that, at a glance, it would look like an old book.
The gold lettering and graphics were designed to look aged and weathered, and also look like they had actually been pressed into real leather.
The serious-looking cover is meant to contrast with the humorous content of the book.")
