No problem at all "Mesiab labs". I understand :)
yeah tini, I don't think that's going to be a problem. It's just some independent dude out there that wants to change the twitter logo.

easy money chesta ...well done
Nuno Lopes, That was a great design! Sorry we closed the competition so soon.. but we felt the simplistic design chesta submitted was right on the money for what the site is going to be and we needed a logo asap so we could start themeing the site.
Also ABSTRAKT, loved the design ;)

did you know the twitter logo was designed in a forum similar to here?
twitter, um, tweet, um bird.......yes, I agree there are a ton of birds submitted, but as most know the twitter 'bird' this seems an obvious start point for a site 'based' around twitter, retweet. no one should copy the twitter logo, but using a bird, isn't copying.........enough bird talk;-)
When I saw this competition I was very excited to participate because I absolutely LOVE twitter!!
It seems like the people who are getting a lot of stars have no concept of what twitter is, what retweet means or how to portray it. Instead they're drawing birds and using fonts similar to twitter's font.
I thought a lot creativity would be allowed in this competition, but I was wrong. The entries with the least creativity are getting the most stars.
I'll admit mine weren't very creative to start - I was basically feeling out the competition - then I saw all the bird logos getting stars and I dropped out.
Good luck to everyone who is left, I won't be visiting retweet.com if they choose a logo similar to twitter and steal their concept.
Retweet.com's logo should be solely about "retweeting", not about twitter.
They are not twitter and I don't think they should even have a bird in their logo. The founders of retweet.com should find another idea to make their own- not steal from twitter - who's founders have been working for years to get their idea off the ground.
