What’s an Irony Mark? 100 years ago, there was a bit of punctuation – looked like a backwards question mark – that indicated irony. You wrote “That’s a great idea,” when your friend mentioned alligator wrestling… and they thought you meant it? You needed an irony mark! Sadly, the irony mark never really caught on, and is now only remembered by typography nerds.
