Description of the organization and its target audience
We are a luxury firewood company in Houston, TX based on firewood coming from a historic family ranch in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The brand is all about the outdoors and the wood burning lifestyle. Our customers are wealthy and generally refined. But they love the outdoors. Therefore, brands they associate with are King Ranch, Tecovas, Yeti, Orvis, Filson, and other high end outdoor brands. We want to keep this sort of refined and high class look to our apparel as well, including hats.

Description
I need 5-6 hat designs to roll out a line of hats that represent our brand. We are a luxury firewood company in Houston, TX based on firewood coming from a historic family ranch in Las Vegas, New Mexico. The brand is all about the outdoors and the wood burning lifestyle. We are expanding into a wide range of products that support this lifestyle and want to have apparel, starting with hats that expand on our brand. I have added a document with some sketches that we would like to be the starting point for ideas for the hats (AA design ideas.pdf). You could run with these sketch ideas or try to evolve them or come up with new. There are some themes to the brand such as our namesake ranch, the origin of the name (the mountain Hermit's Peak), and our cattle company that can all play into it. The profile of the mountain used to be our old logo and I would like to see that come back to life in some of our artwork, I have included some photos. You can also google the mountain. Also, we are a sort of "if you know, you know" type of product selling piñon firewood where people feel "in the club" if they are a customer so we want to find a hat that quietly speaks to that. The goal here is to run with some of our ideas to bring them to life or come up with your own using these as springboards. The look and feel of our new brand is generally set, so I want to be careful to stay in line with that. You can see it in our logos and beta website. "Indian Head" is the main focus and the arrowhead icon is something we want to emphasize on some hats. Not all hats need to say "firewood" as part of the messaging. We are open to a variety of styles, whether they be patch designs or designs for embroidery. Please contact me with any questions.

Other notes
I’m in the final stages of a rebranding and relaunch of website. Will have a totally different feel than the current. I have linked the beta version of new website. Contact me with any questions about the project.
Lastly, our customers are wealthy and generally refined. But they love the outdoors. Therefore, brands they associate with are King Ranch, Tecovas, Yeti, Orvis, Filson, and other high end outdoor brands. We want to keep this sort of refined and high class look to our apparel as well, including hats.
