Description of the organization and its target audience
Hello! We are a roll-off dumpster company with goals to grow into a full suite waste removal company (municipal waste removal). We plan to differentiate from our competitors by focusing on more sustainable practices and being more relatable and youthful to our customers. Our target market is primarily the commercial market - specifically construction, manufacturing and storm cleanup. We want to stand out against the traditional waste service company (I.e. see Waste Management and Republic Services with a logo that tells a story. We want the logo to bridge the gap between professional and fun. We don’t want the logo itself to be letters I.e. GW.

Other notes
The gopher is characterized by hard-work and community. We want Gopher Waste to span the bridge of professional and fun.
We would like a combination mark logo (we are not looking for GW - we don’t want our logo to be letters). In the future we would like to be identifiable by logo alone so we are looking for something timeless, scaleable, and relatable to put on merchandise. As mentioned, merchandising is important to us so our logo will need to be fun and meaningful.
Our goal is to have a logo that is widely recognizable to the communities we work in and garners awareness to sustainable practices and community involvement. There are kids out there who idolize garbage men and we want our logo and brand to be something that they, their older siblings, and their parents would want to wear on a t shirt. We want to be different than the existing providers such as Waste Management and Republic services by being relatable to our commercial customers, adults, and kids alike who see our trucks around the community daily.
